Report: Poland, Ukraine want Russian oil price limit at $30

MOSCOW, Nov 25 (PRIME) -- Ukraine's President Vladimir Zelensky has supported Poland’s idea of capping the Russian oil prices at U.S. $30 per barrel, Bloomberg reported on Friday.

"I’m very grateful to our Baltic colleagues, to Polish colleagues, their proposals are quite reasonable to set this cap at $30 per barrel,” Zelensky said. “It’s a much better idea," he added referring to earlier proposals to set the price limit at $65–70.

Most European states supported setting the ceiling for Russian oil exports at U.S. $65–70 per barrel. According to Bloomberg, the talks were postponed because of disagreements and could be resumed on Friday.
